Severe T-storm warning w/ a developing mesocyclone indicated over Powhattan County, Virginia. Greenish-colored lightening observed in the southwestern sky at my location in Richmond. Now am heading out to see what can be seen...

Heavy rain and frequent CG strikes in Spotsylvania County near Lake Anna. Power knocked out.
about 7:30PM EDT, severe storm along I-95 in Caroline County. Heavy rain bringing traffic to a near standstill, and high wind gusts (hard to estimate while moving, and I'm not getting out in that heavy rain with the Kestrel).
The bigger ones are south of here, moving SE about 15MPH.
