7/19/06 NOW: MN / IA / WI / IL

Lightning in Grayslake IL was ok. Worth getting my backside out of bed for.
But not much in the way of winds and only .58" of rain as of 0610hrs.

such a weak storm, i had 21 mph the highest with alot of in cloud lightning.......the smaller cells that popped up in southern cook county b4 the "derecho" had way more lightning and even 25-30 seconds of ice pellets that i woodnt call hail but it wasnt rain either i guess the updraft wasnt strong enough to get it to be completely hail
