Sitting in Wellington, KS. Tornado watch just issued for most of north-central OK. New mesoscale discussion stating the possibility of large hail and tornadoes with the storm currently on-going to the WNW of Enid, OK if it interacts with outflow boundary. Currently no warnings. I haven't checked to see what's going on up north.

KWTV reporting that a small tornado touched down just east of Ringwood, OK in eastern Major County. GR2AE did pop up a shear marker around the time, so looks like its going to be doing the quick, weak spin ups as it dances along the outflow boundary.

Currently in York, NE where winds are SEly at about 15G25. Watching a boundary about a county southwest of Hastings. Looks like good moisture convergence from the boundary southward into KS. Will probably sit here for a while, then drop south once the Cu field gets more established.

New MCD for eastern Nebraska encouraging for those still going with the northern play.

In short, notes nice moisture tongue that has made its way north and calling for possible initiation 21-23Z with decent tornadic potential especially if storms can become established. Sitting in Concordia where there's a decent cu-field tho still flat at this position. Headed towards Beatrice Neb with Jason Persoff and Bill Hark

Currently at the library in Beatrice, where skies have cleared and temps are coming up. TDs on the light side today from here through Kansas, but with convergence axis making an approach from the west and very stout surface winds, I'm hoping for some better instability over the next couple of hours. When we got here Beatrice was still under a blanket, but it's great now. I'm streaming video of the bright blue sky for now, just taking it easy. Under no stress today, unlike yesterday.

Large tornado on the ground NW of Lacey, OK in Kingfisher County. It just hit a pig farm it looked like. KWTV is live right now.
