Our Team is near Lucas, KS and following a developing cell that is tracking NE. Rain and a little wind. Looks impressive, but nothing much yet. Heading north on 282. Reed Timmer and Derek Deroche are also in the area.

We are streaming our live feed currently if you want to view the conditions. Go to our site, link is at the top. www.SevereStudios.com

Leaving Tulsa now...target somewhere near Wellington, KS. Initiation hopefully between 23-00Z. Storms will remain isolated with high tornado potential.

I'm virtually blasting through the mess near Seneca, KS, trying to get east to Hiawatha sometime after 22Z, watch the screen, and hopefully get lucky along the front. Will go as far as St. Jo as indicated and call it a night.

This is one day it pays to virtual-chase IMHO....

We grabbed some pity dinner in Enid and after some self loathing we are back on the road flying north after the cu field going up over central Kansas. Fun watching on GR3 as we, among others all converage on the same area. We're about to collide with Greg Stumpf!

I hope the southward development continues along the dry line, we won't likely be able to catch the stronger stuff that's already in progress.

I don't understand the virtual posts - in what way do imaginary spotter locations help with the forecast / nowcast process?
Put me in that camp as well.

Sitting in Salina seeing sunshine for the past 30 minutes. Good thing i'm not far from home because I smell a bust.

ditto on the virtual posts...im back home in denton after checking out the tornado warned cell southwest of ft. worth...nothing to write home about on that storm really

*sigh*

I am in Langley watching the towers initally appeared to be struggling but finanally beginging to shoot up, hopefully they can stay isolated and turn right increasing the storm realtive helicity. Inflow winds are strong but do feel somewhat cool, hopefully the rain cooled air can be overcome.

Rapidly developing showers and storms along the Reno/Stafford, Barton/Rice, Russell/Ellsworth Counties in Kansas. Moving NNE. Strongest storm near Chase, KS.

Well, I was trying to find a contact phone number on the NWS DFW website to notify them of the damage and confirmed TOR reports I was hearing, but the NWS is so careful about not giving it to the public that they are jeapordizing critical information such as this, from getting through to them. Geeez.

We need one or more of these storms to break off, or develop off the dry line. As long as they keep forming directly on it they'll keep going linear right away. Winds are westerly right on the dry line... no good for spinning.

I work for a radio station here in Hutchinson, KS. Penny to marble size hail reported on west 4th along the Reno/Stafford county line. Strongest storm on GR3 is up around Wilson KS in Ellsworth County.
