Good day all,

Severe TOR-Warned supercell just SW of Newton, TX is moving ENE.

This is one of the first cells and on the southern most portion of the storms and should cross the border into Louisiana.

MODS: Feel free to add TX too if this activity develops farther west.

Radar attributes are showing 2.25" hail and TVS with this cell.

Intense tornado warned supercell N of Houston, it has a massive hook with almost a debris ball shape and an impressive couplet!

Also several tornado warnings in C Louisiana with a VERY nice looking tail end charlie storm south of Alexandria. There is a couple tornado warned supercell in SE North Carolina that look interesting.

What an incredible week of weather!!

Yes, happened to notice that cell N of Houston, and at one point it looked like the town of Cleveland (pop.7,600) was right under the velocity couplet. Will be interesting to see if any reports come in, but hope the town didn't take a hit.
