just watching an intense bow echo moving though Wisconsin. this was the text from the warning issued a bit ago:

It's been a long time since I have seen forecast warning winds of 100 mph, and the storm is moving at 90 mph:eek:

not sure if anyone is chasing this, but hopefully there will be some pics or video that comes from this. that's got to be some shelf cloud!!

also there are storms warned for winds in excess of 80 mph in eastern Iowa
 
I couldn't find any time in the loop when the storms were moving at 90mph, and the highest observed winds were 50-70mph. There were two streamers on it, looked pretty impressive. Gust front is surging well out ahead of the line on the south side which should hurt things a bit. Stuff off MKE is hitting the chilly lake - question is will it redevelop when temps jump 30 degrees onshore!
