After 11 Von. It was closer to the 305/15 intersection than it was to Lipsomb actually. The now have the road shut down. Fire Dept told me a roof was missing from some structure and there are some they can't get to to check on them because of the power lines. Supposedly on of those is a house with a big metal barn of the type of metal that was lying around one of the locals told me. They can't raise the people on the phone either. So their status is unknown at this time.

My brother is a Roeland Park (suburb of Kansas City) police officer who is currently on assignment in Greensburg, manning a checkpoint just south of town until 7 A.M. There is a doppler-indicated possible tornado south of town and my brother is going through town warning the people, who are taking cover. Fortunately, on radar, it looks like the tornado will pass south of town.

The reason I ask is Darren Stephens and I were on the big HP that came through there around 7:30 and although I have seen reports on SPC of a tor at that time, we didn't. It certainly could have been wrapped up somewhere in that enormous circulation.

One of the TXDOT guys told me he saw the earlier on. Described it as a wedge but not all of it touching down?

Roads are closed all over the place. I am having trouble getting back to AMA. Either power lines are down, big trees are blocking roads or they are flooded.

305 is closed all throught the Lipscomb area because of the power lines. Most of the FM roads are flooded out.

203 Booker to Canadian is close for both flooding and large trees in the road. Front end loader is in route to clear that.

70 from Perryton to Pampa is closed due to flooding. We have quite a few new lakes in the Panhandle tonight.

How do you know it's developing into a tornado? What does that mean? Funnel half-way to the ground? Rotation in the clouds? You dropped a handful of dirt and Bill Paxon caught it?

What's your meaning in life dude??? Why do you always have to question what someone is saying or the information that they are trying to convey? Just curious...... Brian.
