Radar hasn't been impressive at all...storm's too far from any of the sites.
Local media chasers have been on it from initiation.

Tor Warn NW Osbourne County KS til 8:30. Hook on radar NW of Alton.

Looking on radar, this storm seems to have cycled and is now showing very distinct rotation on doppler. Probably 1 mile east of Gaylord as of last scan. You on this storm Mike?

A tornadic supercell with pronounced hook and tightening shear couplet has developed in southwestern Washington Co., Colorado near the town of Last Chance. The storm is moving northeast at 30 mph, and is headed directly for the town of Akron. If I fly out the door right now, I might be able to intercept the cell just at Akron. The current path would take the core right over Akron, so I'm thinking I might shoot east of Akron and then south on a paved county road about five miles east of town in order to get in the best position to view the mesocyclone and any potential tornado. Other cells are exploding on the Palmer Divide near Limon and southwest of Wray, so their will be multiple interceptable cells... oooh, I'm sooo tempted....:D

Not Protection again...that town is not living up to it's name. Jeez. Thanks for the report Dick...looks like the stronger winds have made it to S.Kansas as well as the leading edge of the wave.

Craig Maire and Dan Robinson, et al., are in Coldwater fueling up, so they're pretty much on the S KS storm.
Echo tops: 59kft

As of 9:04 PM, spotters were reporting a large and dangerous tornado over extreme NW Comanche County, KS.....9 miles NW of Coldwater. It was moving NE @ 25 mph.

That storm on radar is displaying some absolutely sick rotation. So I am not at all suprised by this report of a large tornado in progress.

D. Brunin is reporting a large wedge tornado on the ground with the Comanche/Kiowa County storm. He estimates over a mile wide.

Earlier this evening Darin reported two stovepipes on the ground at the same time with this storm

Looks like this tornado is approaching the town of Greensburg (Kiowa Co. KS)...hopefully it will miss them. SRV looks scary and the skits are taking the mean couplet towards town.

Absolutely INSANE couplet on this Kiowa Co. KS storm! Please be safe everyone! I pray it stays over open country!
Comparing BR vs BV with GR2Analyst, it looks like this thing has become completely rain-wrapped !!!

I have been using GR Level 3 now for over two years and this storm has exhibited the strongest rotation I have ever seen on it while using those products. As of right now, the MAXDV on this TVS is 190 knots! That's unreal. The meso is likewise. And just the sheer size of the whole area of rotation within the storm is itself amazing. That is one of the largest couplets I have ever seen.
