You reported the rotating wall cloud and "tube" as directly over top of you. Based on radar, comparing the SN lat/long to the rotation, you were 9.8 miles away at the time of the report -- so I said "8-10" as a little leeway and accounting for the motion of the storm between scans. In any case, I don't believe it was directly above you. If you have photos to correlate, I'll be the first to openly apologize.
You lost me. I never said you didn't see a tornado. I said that if you reported a wall cloud directly over top of you - it wasn't a wall cloud. I didn't watch your stream, but I saw two other streams in your very close vicinity and the wall cloud on theirs was clearly in the distance.
If you review your SN report - it was given two reds (I only have one vote

) so apparently I'm not the only one who didn't believe that your wall cloud location was correct.
Nobody is saying you should have SN'ed a tornado if you weren't sure. It's a great idea to report a rotating wall cloud and then note in the remarks that you've seen a rotating cloud formation dropping down out of it but are unsure.
