• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Edit: sorry all, video does not seem to be uploading correctly.

After much interest and requests I just thought I would let everyone know that I have put together the first trailer for Yin and Yang, The Best Of Lanny Dean 1991-2010.

Please note: WARNING VIDEO INCLUDES ADULT LANGUAGE!!!! There is a reason why it is called Yin and Yang. :)

I will be accepting pre orders sometime next month. This DVD will include over 50 tornadoes, over 2.5 hours of video including the Mulvane KS F-3 2004, Red Rock OK 1991, Girard KS F4/5 2004, Throckmorton TX F-3 2002, Gotebo OK F-3 and all tornadoes 2002,
Ottowa KS F-1 we get hit by. 2004, Greensburg KS EF-5 ALL 2007, Protection KS F-2 2007, Nickerson KS F-? 2007, Edson KS F-0 2007, Bird City KS F-3 2007 as well as 17 tornadoes from the 5-29-2004 tornadic outbreak, Henneseey OK F-3 2008, Hill City F-? 2007, and many many other events. Please Note that the Greensburg event will include all video excluding the bodies and bad stuff.

While there are some transitions and some video will be cut to length, all video is raw, shot under real "combat conditions" and basically unedited....in other words the video will tell the story. I will put out another trailer just before we go "live" with this to let everyone know exactly when we will be taking orders.

Hope everyone enjoys.

Just what I needed to cure my SDS. I like the "combat conditions" style that's implied - a lot of videos try to frame a storm in an elegant and majestic presentation (which isn't a bad thing), but it's interesting to see the raw destruction of these storms presented in a similarly raw manner. Sorry for getting all artsy in your thread, Lanny :D
