I found this 10 minute student film about tornadoes while looking for more Enterprise tornado video. The student's supercells are more realistic than in Twister. Apparently, they have been watching a lot of tornado videos on YouTube. I can't tell if they images are completely generated or are altered from video or still grabs.

I just watched it and must say, for being a student film, that is very impressive and well done. I'd love to see how it would turn out if made into a full length movie somehow.

Without Warning

More realistic storm structure than Twister, (but maybe that is not saying much). At first the storm looked rather high based, without a well developed wall cloud, not that tornadoes can't drop from high based storms. In one shot both tornadoes looked anticyclonic, that could use fixing. For just one moment, the two funnels reminded me of that famous black and white pick from Elkhart Indiana (April 11,1965). That would fit well with the seasonal appearance i.e. bare trees. A few large baseballs would be more believable than just one. Also no need for the lightning to do really bizarre things.

Still....better graphics than Twister!
