Which cell amp?

I am running a Maximum Signals Rockies amp and Maximum Signals 9db gain Super Trucker antenna along with their wired cradle and their shielded wired splitter.

This setup allows me to have my Verizon USB aircard -AND- AT&T iPhone boosted at the same time.

The downside is, yes, you do have to have a WIRED connection for your device. In order to add my iPhone, I had to purchase both the cradle and the splitter (which was almost $100 itself).

I went with this setup because I personally like wired setups, especially when DATA is concerned. Wireless is SO attractive for SO many reasons, but personal life experience made me chose wired. I will NOT sit here and tell anyone else wireless is bad. "I" do not know, I have not owned the wireless system. This was simply MY choice.

What I CAN tell you is that so far, I am completely happy with my current setup. The difference with this setup vs just an external antenna is dramatic. "No Data" is just not ok. I have never had to touch a single item of the Maximum Signals equipment since it was installed. Just as you hope it will be. Install it, and it just works. Time after time. Now, I did make effort to place the amp where it would get air circulation. I tried to protect the amp from heat.

A question.....My understanding is, if I want to switch over to Verizon 4G in a few years when they are deployed in all the rural areas, I will have to buy a new Amp & Antenna? Is this correct? Any info would be great on that subject.

No it is exchangeable with Wilson NMO Mount , And again the Cyfre antennas are superior performing antennas.

I think you misunderstood my question. I currently have an NMO mount Wilson antenna. I am wondering if the Maximum Signal antenna is NMO mount as well, which would allow me to just swap out the Wilson for the Maximum Signal antenna. Just trying to figure out if I should go Mag Mount version or roof mount.

Yes you will need a new amplifier for 4 G , but your antenna is fine and will work with 4G . Verizon 4G will be installed on 700 mhz , 800 mhz and 1900 mhz . Current amplifiers cover 800 mhz and 1900 mhz . No hurry though , full rollout of Verizon 4G is not slated to be complete till sometime in 2014
