Hi, Tim,

Is there anyway to get a count of the number of likes beneath our avatars like there used to be? I always found it fun to try and see if I could get more likes per post than other members. It really forced me to try and step up my post quality. Just my $0.02...worth even less!

Glad to see the likes back. I think it really promoted quality posting on here. I enjoyed watching the like count as well, but can see how some people might not want the attention of having their name show up as a like on someone's post or how they might not like the potential popularity contest it creates. It might be better to have it public though. That way people can acknowledge posts with a "Thank you" by hitting the like button instead of having to post a one liner "thank you" post. It will create less clutter on the forums, and someone who answers a question or makes a helpful comment will know from who they are getting a thanks.

I'm happy to see the like feature back. Often I want to recognize someone for sharing their knowledge and insight but it makes a thread tedious to follow and kills meaningful discussion if people chime in just to say thanks.

I can't vote or even see the poll with the Tapatalk app, but I want to express my appreciation for the work that has been done on this forum by everyone involved. I thought that it was going to go by the wayside but it seems that the latest efforts have given it a much needed second wind.

The real question is how do we use this to target ads... oh wait
