TorWarn Weather Alerts for Android

With TorWarn you will have access to Tornado Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, Tornado Watches, and Severe Thunderstorm Watches as soon as they become available. This application Uploads your position to our server which then searches the National Weather Service instantly for Warnings / Watches / Alerts in your area. If you are in a Warning or Watch your phone will be alerted and you can take the necessary actions to protect life and property.

There will be a Pro version available at some time in the future with SPC outlooks, Earthquake alerts, Spotternetwork option and several other features only Chasers would use.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I've found it to be the best weather alert program so far for android, and I was thrilled when I got it. I even put the EAS tone as the notification. ^.^ It worked perfectly the first or second time, but now when my HTC thunderbolt display shuts off it doesn't poll or alert until I turn the screen back on. I'm not sure why. I'm not running any app killer or anything.

great app, downloaded it and installed it but it won't allow me to set an .mp3 file as a sound notification. I wanted to set my tornado siren sound file as the notification but it won't recognize any of my .mp3's. can you fix that?

but It should work with mp3's as far as I know.

its not working with any of my .mp3 files.

i was able to download some .wav's and they worked just fine, but when it comes to .mp3's it's not recognizing any of them.
