Tornado Hunter show

I thought it was some good video and they followed how they want to be portrayed.
But the video is nothing that I haven't seen from others on here, Chaser Rules? Guess I need to get the book...
What really made me get  was the claims to be the only ones doing it , while at the same time the video shows cars in front of them. Then again I've seen this on other video but I think that is mostly from media chaser video ...

All in all good show without producer bs ,just their own:p

There was a little bit too much hyperbole and dramatics added in post-production for my taste, but when you strip that away they're no more "outlaws" than many other hard-core chasers who know what they're looking at, what they're doing, and how to carve out a media niche.

I define "outlaws" as those who have no respect for rules, or even who don't recognize out of ignorance or carelessness that there are rules. These chasers know and respect rules very well, including when and how much you can prudently break them.

I watched the show as well and enjoyed the Weather scenes. I really enjoyed the fact that the one guy had a truck with a Shell on the back and a mattress to sleep on to save money. Thats the way I would roll as well, would be like an extended Vacation except for the fact that I am not sleeping in a tent or in a motel and I can pull into any truck stop or other lot as long as I get permission to stay there. The edginess of the show was expected. But I think the show does good to show that all chasers arent alike. There are cautious ones, daredevils, ones who tip toe a storm and I think the Producers of these different shows are doing a good job to show that there are many types of chasers. The more shows that come out the more people that watch the show start to learn the types of people that storm chasers can be. I enjoyed the show.

Hahaha, I just watched the show and now I know who Jerry and I drove in front of on March 28. Too funny. They should have put their video in the show of them yelling at Jerry to get out of the way.

In defense of the show, it was more accurate in dialog than the other series that have been released this year since they let the chasers do the narration instead of letting some editor botch it up. It was also nice not seeing a fudged time line as the dates were clearly identified.

I thought it was a good show. Although the ride along guy's style was a big distraction for me, and I was born and raised in the Ozarks. He seems more like comical releif. I mean, what is it about people filming tornados that makes the side kick run out and spin around? I've seen that done in several videos now. To me standing in the presence of such a awesome power would make me awe struck. Otherwise a great show. I was hoping it would be a mini series at least.

For you Guys and Gals that missed it the "TORNADO HUNTERS" show replays tonight at 10pm central/8pm Pacific on TruTV (DirecTV Channel 246/Dish network Channel 204...)
