I noticed nearly all of the tornadic supercells tonight were moving due north for the most part, and even a few moving in a northwesterly direction. Usually I hear of the strongest tornadic supercells moving to the right of the mean wind direction. How often does this happen? It's probably a good thing that it happened though, most of the most dangerous storms kept away from highly populated areas.
