I suppose it's only fitting that 11 years to the day after the big event here in Oklahoma that I'm releasing Storm Chasing Handbook, 2nd Edition as an e-book. It's a PDF that's free of DRM, so you can load it up on your iPhone, your iPad, or your laptops to peruse while out in the field. Not only do you get the whole thing in full color -- you also get the searchable 120-page Great Plains travel guide right at your fingertips.

The e-book price is $19.95, and there's also a bundle price for those that want both the book and the e-book which effectively lowers the e-book price to about $10. A sample chapter is posted here.
In some respects this is a test to see whether we can go with an electronic format. Hopefully nobody will be passing copies around to friends or posting them on websites -- and if the idea works out well I can extend this to my other titles and perhaps we can save a few trees and avoid the weeklong waits for books to arrive in the mail.
