Storm chasers: too close to the storm?

I can see this standing as it's own thread, as in part it discusses something different than the 24020 thread.

I'll note I believe (but would have to double check) from what I was told, this was written, in part, by a chaser. I didn't see their name in the article, so I'm not sure to what extent, but talking with them, they mentioned having to write stuff for TWC (among other sources).

Interesting move on TWC's part. Especially at the bottom that has:
