• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Storm Chaser List

My homepage and my Blog are both in my signature - feel free to add me. Might want to alphabetize it as others have said - I had to use Edit->Find to see if I was there.

Ok, it's up to date up to this point in the thread. Roger Edwards also sent me a email with a bunch of modifications for himself and others closer to his world of chasers.

I will be adding more as people send them to me, but in the meantime I'm going to work on making it alphabetical, but I'm also going to separate out the men and the women. I want a column of just women so people can more clearly see how many women chasers there really are out there. It seems to me that media underestimates how common women chasers are today. I don't really care about that, but I think some of them feel under appreciated.

This is a great idea. Would anyone have any objections to me adding everyone and a link to thier site to a weatherwiki at another site I visit? I think it would be cool to have a list in the weatherwiki I am helping out with.

Thanks for the idea Andrew, MatthewCarman.

I dont want to sit here and take links from your page Andrew since you put alot of hard work and time into making that list of storm chasers but if it is ok with you I would like to take the links and names and add them to a weather wiki I am working on for another site. (The weather vane)

If you have any problems with me doing this I will understand and not do it. I will wait for permission. I will collect links from this thread if nobody has any objections.
