Here are a couple of split-screen videos from two cameras recording tower lightning strikes at the 1,500-foot WVAH antenna in West Virginia. One camera is shooting with a wide-angle lens, the second is zoomed in close on the antenna tip. The first is one strike from Wednesday's storms (July 27), the second is three strikes in five minutes from a June 14 storm.

It was impossible to get these precisely synced up for some reason, but it's close enough to illustrate the idea.
