I'm having trouble picking out exactly where the warm front is at the moment, looks like across the northern row of counties in Illinois? Is that about right?

A great way to identify frontal boundaries is by looking at shifts in direction of the wind barbs on surface charts:

To pick out the warm front, you're looking for where the barbs turn to the east. You've got nice easterly surface winds in southern Wisconsin. The barbs veer south of there. At a quick glance, I'd say the warm front is right there near the WI/IL border. You can look at more detailed charts and draw on them, connecting the dots, to do a hand analysis and nail down exactly where that boundary is tracking, however.
