Possible tornado strikes Pike's Peak highway.

Sure looks like a tornado to me. In one of the pictures, trees in the foreground are down to the right, and in the background, down to the left. Not to mention a velocity couplet on radar where it happened. And Pike's Peak was under a tornado warning at the time.

Now confirmed as an EF-1 tornado.

Saw that on the news on Friday.
Been some tornadoes at odd places in CO this year!
Like the one up near Antero Reservoir on June 30..

Here's a striking photo from that page, showing the storm's meso and wall cloud from *above*, taken near the summit of Pike's Peak. Based on my review of a topo map, the EF-1 tornado path occurred near 9000-9500 feet elevation.
