What's your opinion on the new face of Stormtrack? We want to hear from you, so please vote. If you have any additional questions or concerns that you are unwilling or otherwise prefer not to share openly, please contact one of the staff members via PM: http://www.stormtrack.org/members/?type=staff

To initiate a PM, for now, go to the person's profile page, click the "information" tab, then click "start a conversation" and proceed from there.

Definitely like it better overall. Would it be possible to get the timestamp of the post at the top of the post instead of the bottom? Reading the timestamps helps me find my place in a thread, and it's strange to have to scroll to the bottom of a post to see it, then have to scroll back up to read the whole post (which mostly only applies to the longer posts).

Mark, that's something that we can look at. If it's an option via Xenofro, it can probably be done fairly quickly if there are no objections from a technical standpoint. Please feel free to share any other glitches that you'd like to see addressed too!

Very refreshing layout and I appreciate the hard work put into this site. But, can the thread notifications not be integrated into the ChaserChat?

We will definitely keep the thread notifications in the chat for the time being. Do note that it is on newly created threads, not all forum activity.

I generally like the upgraded feel of it, but it's going to take some time to get used to it and find all the old options I used to use most frequently. Also I'm sure the staff will get kinks and little twitches ironed out as people begin using the site and finding any bugs or weird things.

I'm not voting now because it's all too new. I'm just now realizing it's really not a forum so much as a FB inside a forum wrapper. Basically all text after the initial post are comments, which seems fine to me. I'm gonna drive this thing for a week or so and I'll get back to you.

@Shane Adams It depends on where you are in the forum. If you are looking at something in the weather news area, those are articles and are designed for "comments". The rest of ST is still a full featured forum post and reply-wise.

I really like the new look. Very professional and well laid out. Good Job!
