Has anyone else been having trouble with WxWorxs displaying fictional warnings? My WxWorx is showing 12 counties in Eastern Ne and Western Ia under Tor Warns at 10PM. Some of these counties do not even show any echos, data shows accurate valid times.

I was getting them again today. It seemed to be re-posting warnings from different days. A lot of the warnings that came up today were the ones that were issued last night. I have now deleted and reloaded all of the counties and have not noticed the problem yet, but it has only been an hour or so since I did that.

We saw this on just about each chase this year. They do seem to correct themselves over time, but it is odd to see a warning for a county that has no storms in it. I also run the weather radio at the same time for a backup, especially tonight when the WxWorx dropped out three times in our chase across Southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa.

Where is your sat antenna located?

I had tornado warnings over KC metro area today with storms not even close around 4 or 5pm. Its not a perfect system by any means, but I would say it is still reliable most of the time.

I've noticed old warnings and other data can pop up when you restart the WxWorx software. Sometimes we've had to reset the data. I think there's a menu option for that.

But if these warnings are first appearing after you've been using the software for a while, it sounds like a problem on WxWorx's end.

Ah, Mobile Threat Net. Great for keeping an eye on storms from afar, but dangerous up close when people stare at the radar instead of looking directly at the storm. I've had to remind people a hundred times to look out the window and watch for tornadoes and other features, especially when it gets dark.
