Volunteers needed to help bring beauty back to Fairdale, Illinois. We are doing a planting project with the residents May 14 & 15 and May 21 & 22 from 10am to 5pm. Bring your garden gloves, work boots, garden tools, sack lunch, lawn chair, and join us. Many residents have rebuilt since the April 9, 2015 EF4 tornado and have bare yards.
Homeowners will need family members to work with us and help with garden placement, plants, and planting.
Please contact Regina or Trudy with plans and special plant requests.
We are so looking forward to this project to help put some color back in Fairdale. We have several garden clubs willing to help with plants. We still need more volunteers to help create these gardens. If anyone has a rolotiller they are willing to let us use, that would help a lot
