Hi everyone,
Just wondering, when we get severe tstorms up here in the NJ/NY/CT area, I've noticed that while they can be quite intense and sometimes pack large hail and high wind, rarely do they have high amounts of vertically integrated water. Does anyone know why? Last year there was a large tornadic supercell over long island sound, and even it had a low amount VIL.
