Ice storm #2 within 24 hours on 1/14-1/15. Around 1/3" of ice in Albany and close to 3/4" of ice in Saratoga County, NY and the Adirondacks.


3 fatalities as a result of an MVA/ice out near Syracuse, NY.

1 other fatality in Albany when this 22 YOA young man was involved in a 9 car MVA in Albany as a result of the icy highway. He was checking on other injured drivers when another car came sliding toward him. He jumped on the guardrail overpass to avoid getting hit by the car and slipped on the ice of the guardrail and fell 90 feet onto the railroad tracks below. http://www.wten.com/Global/story.asp?S=5939687
