Reno County is SO Grateful, too
We in Reno County were always in a bind when it came to NWR coverage before. The Wichita transmitter was not in the best of shape and the western half of the county was pretty much in a dead zone. In fact, before the transmitter went up in Sharon, KS and now Great Bend, we were the largest populated area in the entire state to be in degraded coverage. Now, with the refurbishing of the Wichita transmitter with new transmitter, antenna and feedline, and the addition of the Sharon and Great Bend transmitters, we are in great shape. Many thanks to the folks at the Wichita WFO for pushing these upgrades.
