I noticed the forum underwent a new update today. What are some of the new features and perks of V 4.2?

Hey Danny,

The new changes compared to our previous version (4.1.10) are:

• Activity Stream
• Navigation Manager
• Members who have Visited Today
• Cron-based Batch Email Sending
• UserCP Reputation Display
• Reputation Notification
• User Profile Reputation Display
• Who has Read a Thread
• Doublepost Prevention
• Enhanced Reputation Checks
• IE 10 Compatibility (Instructs IE10 to render vB4 pages using IE9 compatibility mode.)
• Activity Stream: Forum Sidebar
• Activity Stream: CMS Widget
• Navigation Manager: Add option for tab to be a drop down menu
• Activity Stream: Dynamic population of new content
• Allow a target to be set in the Navigation manager URL
• Change maximum allowed activity stream Items Per Page to 150 (from 30)
• 20 issues were fixed in preparation for Mobile Suite 1.4, which will be released soon and supports iOS6.
• 120 bug fixes

Not all of these are or will be implemented, for example most people here felt the reputation system would be controversial, and some of the changes are just admin options.

I like the new look. It looks clean and classy. Will the chatroom reopen again? Some of us were on it every night and had good conversations on there.

Seconded. It's not the most lively place, but there are a dozen or so regulars that come and go, and some great conversations take place.

I too like the new look a lot but miss the chat room. I may not contributed much but did learn a lot.
