• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

For those that may be bored and have a severe case of SDS, don't worry....the guys over at Chaser TV have just what the doctor ordered!

Tonight at 8:00pm central they will be airing my entire chase video from 5-29-04. This is the "RAW" and unedited version and includes my all time high of 17 tornadoes in one day, one of which I took a direct hit from!
Today markes the 5 year anniversary of this crazy event and what better way to celebrate it than by seeing some crazy Extreme video of it!

You can watch the video "live" by going to www.ChaserTV.com

I think I saw it already

Congrats!! Yes special day for me too and many others. Is that a record for a chaser?

I think I saw it a few weeks ago on Weather channel or maybe it was a different one. That one had the Mulvane tornado.

Do you have a link to the website about your account for that day?

I was out that day but only caught the dangerous Dearborn tornado north of the KC airport and another tornado/funnel. I tried to catch 2 tornadoes to the north but to no avail.

One of them days along with May 12, 2004 that I would love to have been able to chase on. Multiple backlit tornadoes in a small area. The Mulvane tornado was on June 12, 2004.

Eric, it was Discovery 3 weeks ago. TWC was the Storm Stories that aired my Greensburg and the second Storm Stories was my Mulvane.

That day was easily one of my best as a chaser, although we were on the Concordia (Jamestown wedge) storm, not Harper. But that means the video will mostly be stuff I haven't seen, which is great. This is an excellent idea! Kudos to whoever thought this up.

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who tuned into the show on CTV....it was a great success! Also thanks to all who helped with the Q&A!

Hope all of you enjoyed the show!
