• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Max Amp or WeBoost

Thanks Guys . That call seemed to go well . Now the executive producer is pitching to network executives . We should know tomorrow . She also knows producers from other shows she is going to pitch to. She seems to really like the product.

We got the major cable channel feature . Tapes in September should air in November / December. Also looking very good with the RCMP in Canada . Have finished their testing and we won ! Now they have to squeeze money out of federal government . Might might have to wait for new year.

Is there a real difference in the weBoost Drive 4G-M and the weBoost Drive 4G-X other than price? I am trying to decide on a booster now.

I have a 4g-x and I think (though I'm not completely sure) the only major difference is that the X allows for multiple cellular carriers to connect to the booster at once. For instance, I have AT&T and my wife has Republic Wireless. However, we both receive a signal boost from the 4G-X.

Check this out James: https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/resources/mobile-cellular-boosters/

There are comparisons there for the two amps you mentioned. The X was recently refreshed with a single LED vs having four. You can glean some good information on that website, but sooner or later you'll probably want to read the member-only content if you're like me. The team that rates those are split on the X and M. Chris likes the X and Cherie likes the M. They both appear to perform well in the tests I've seen if it helps.

I think I remember seeing something from Steve on FB about his experience with that model. Let us know how it works for you once you've used it a few times.

Just bought the 4G-x but am curious about the SureCall that Steve posted about.
Would love an update when someone has time to test!
