Max Amp or WeBoost

I bought a 3g amp from Gordon in spring of 2011 prior to my may chase tour.

I was very happy with the performance of that amp and I still have it. My chase partner and I hit a dead spot south of Dodge City as we made our way towards Woodward, OK. both our phones went to no service. i plugged the amp into my verizon 3g data card and instantly had 5 bars of service.

Gordons 3G amp performed pretty good during that trip.

i have no problem givibg my money to someone who makes a quality product...even if every series of unfortunate delays occurs as has with the release of MS's 4g amps. good things are worth waiting for. gordon has my vote of confidence.

Any word Gordon... I`m buying On the first, from someone?
Steve - I was hoping to have a review prepared by now for Gordon's new amp offering but I was out of town during the period the USPS was requesting my signature for the delivery. The unit was sent back to to Gordon and I imagine he is having someone else review it since I was busy.
This said, I have bought new hardware from Gordon each time something new became available because his stuff is outstanding. I can't imagine something new from him would be any different, especially given the hassle given by regulating agencies. There must be something special in that box!
If you're in as much a hurry as it seems, buy it and send it back if you hate it.

Steve, I`m not really in a hurry as it`s just been 3 years and it`s always something. I know as soon as I buy something else they will be out but on the other hand I`m not waiting another year and running with nothing at all. I always buy 3 at a time, one for each car. I have always bought his products but I`m losing streaming money and can not keep doing that for another season. Even after the heated name calling I was still going to buy his as I want the best I can buy but I keep hearing the same old same old. I tried to even get a guy to build me one as I don`t care if I`m FCC legal...lol If he get`s it figured out my problems will be over...ha I just need a damn cell amp in the worst way and dont care about cost or what ever at this point as long as it works...lol

5.0 out of 5 starsHeads up to Verizon LTE Users With New Smart Phones.....
ByJ.G.on August 24, 2015
Received this as a present from my super awesome dad after the cradle version of this was too small for my new LG G4 on Verizon. The cradle version worked perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S4. I thought it was working fine until calls started dropping left and right. Also started to receive network search messages and the phone kept disconnecting from my car blue tooth and to top things off, people couldn't hear me when I could hear them. I was so frustrated that I unplugged the device at various time thinking it was making my connection issues worse, but that didn't help either. After doing a little research, and noticing that some calls to people with newer smart phones would stay connected, I stumbled across a few people complaining about this same issue on Verizon and sure enough, I discovered that Verizon's new Advanced Calling feature which is how Verizon now allows new smart phones to do voice and data simultaneously was the reason calls were dropping out etc. Turns out the advanced calling uses the 4G LTE to transmit voice, and if you DON'T have an LTE signal or you start out with an LTE signal and then lose it, the calls drop out COMPLETELY. So, since Verizon 4G LTE signal isn't everywhere, it's very easy to be dropping calls thinking it's this Booster, when in fact, once I disabled the Advanced Calling and had the Booster on, it worked flawlessly. After the fact, I found a big disclaimer on Verizon's website about their Advanced Calling and how it could cause a lot of dropped calls. So in the end, the device works perfectly. The only down side for Verizon LTE users will be if you need to use data and voice at the same time while you are driving, you cannot without the Advanced Calling on.HOWEVER, since driving and using your phone aren't safe, it shouldn't be a big issue. :)

I'm wondering how does the MS 4G Booster handle this?

Since our amplifier does eight devices at one time it will handle this fine it will just consider call side and data side of the device seperate devices. We also handle two new LTE bands on the 700 side that WEBoost amplifiers do not . That is the advantage of having a working relationship with the carriers . Something our competitors don't have.

As promised I wasn't going to wait another year for a cellphones amp. I got the willison and I have tested it in all the dead zones I chase in most often. Western KS, Western OK and Eastern Co as well as up in the Rockies and I am very very happy with the way it preformed. Wishing I had made this move 3 year ago instead of waiting on the other amp to come out. $600 well spent in books and will now be buying 2 more for the rest of our cars.

Hi Steve, which Wilson amp did you purchase? I'm looking into the weboost (wilson) 4g-x.
