Lightning information

I am doing a research paper for school and I am planning on the topic being lightning. I'm trying to narrow it down to the specifics of lightning, to the smallest details. Does anybody know some good websites, books, etc that have to do with the "chemistry" of lightning??

Hi Jayson - The first book I would go for is called simply "Lightning" by Dr. Martin A. Uman. It is an in-depth guide to the physics and properties of lightning, and about as comprehensive as any lightning book to date. It is one of the best books in my weather collection.
