• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Introducing: Stormtrack Discord, the Online Forum Alternative for a New Generation of Weatherers

Interesting one there Peter.

I've always kept IPv6 disabled on my network & computers.
Reading this, I just checked to make sure any settings hadn't changed themselves. Nope, still disabled as I had it.

I tried it on 2 other computers tonight and in both cases got the same thing .. just a blank page in the browser window.

Since I can't get it to work on anything I've tried (and only saw one result/question of the exact same issue I have) on the multiple google searches I've done)...
Has anyone tried a windows discord client like 'discord sandboxed' or 'fosscord' ?? (I do not consider the 'official' client as even being an option)

Hi,

Is it possible to get an invite link to the Discord server?

The link also kicks me back to the main forum page.

Thanks,

Hey there Folks! I'm very sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone. It's been very busy with work so am finally getting a chance to get around to the forums. I'll be forwarding invites to everyone interested here shortly. In the event that I don't see your messages in the future, please use the "Start Conversation" feature of these forums (so I can get a notification of when I'm sent a message as the homepage chat doesn't send me those), or shoot me a DM/friend request directly on Discord to CanadianPacketChaser#5264 (User ID # 453919882812063754).

I've sent invites over the conversation feature to those who have been waiting. If I've missed anyone, please reach out using the methods as mentioned above and I'll get then over to you as soon as I can.

CC those below:

The link doesn't seem to work, can I get an invite?
This just kicks me back to the main forum page.
