Interpreting polarimetric radar products

Does anyone know where I can get a layman's description on interpreting differential selectivity, correlation coefficient and specific differential phase weather radar products? Pretty much everything I find from a Google search is very brief or "gets into the weeds" with a lot of heavy math. I am trying to find the practical interpretations of these radar products. Thanks.

Closest thing I have found but the Meteorologists section is fairly technical. However it shows examples after background fundamentals. Looks like the Non-Meteorologist section gets more to the point, but always a risk interpreting data without the physics background. Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply. I will look at the site. As a mechanical engineer, I do have a background in physics.
