WeatherWall Mobile is a state of the art weather radar display application. Utilizing the vast coverage of the WSR-88D network in the United States we are able to map high-resolution weather information anywhere in the United States.
Unlike other apps which feature low quality pictures of what the weather radar is detecting, this app capitalizes on the high resolution nature of the Level 3 data provided by the US National Weather Service allowing you to zoom right into your city to see what the weather is doing!
Enjoy the smoothed radar reflectivity often found on PC applications? Wish you had it on your iPhone or iPad? Well wish no more, WeatherWall Mobile supports smoothing of radar reflectivity!
Do you often want to look at multiple products coupled together? With WeatherWall Mobile’s native dual panel display you can always see two products! Want the viewing space that only a single panel provides? Two finger swipe to switch to a single panel view!
In addition, if you’re a weather weenie like us you might want to see what is going on with the weather anywhere in the conterminous United States. WeatherWall Mobile makes this easy with its unique national radar mosaic product. Using this feature you can have your local radar loaded in high resolution but still keep track of what is going on in the surrounding regions! The mosaic is updated every 10 minutes so you can always be aware of what the storms are doing!
Do you often wonder if a storm is interacting with local terrain? Or maybe you wonder if the radar is suffering from beam blockage by a mountain? Wonder no more, with WeatherWall Mobile’s terrain underlay you can now see exactly where the mountains, hills and valleys are in relation to the storms!
Tired of viewing cities as just dots on the map? Utilize WeatherWall Mobile’s population density overlay to see where everyone lives in relation to the storm!
Interested in the dual polarization upgrade coming to the National Weather Service radars? WeatherWall Mobile has you covered there too! The dual polarization products including differential reflectivity (zdr), correlation coefficient (rho_hv), and specific differential phase (kdp) are supported for the newly upgraded radars at Vance AFB, OK (KVNX), Phoenix, AZ (KIWA) and Morehead City, NC (KMHX)! Be ahead of the curve and in the first wave to learn how to utilize these exciting new products!
