• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Obviously we're not dealing with a team player here. Somebody's got to dive on the grenade Adam. I don't want to roll around in the sack with some chick that weights a deuce any more than the next guy, but you just gotta man up some times if it means your friends are going to pull some tail. It's called loyaltly buddy lol.

And just cause their a bit bigger doesnt mean it isnt good.

This argument is extremely lame and a waste of bandwidth. A tornado is a tornado no matter if its a whipsy EF-0 or a monster EF-4. Its the same process. People are too hung up on how big or photogenic a tornado is instead of just enjoying the fact that yout witnessing a tornado.

And to be honest a rating doesnt mean jack. I have seen 1/4 mile wide EF-0's only because it didnt hit anything to get a rating. Like the Arnette, Ok tornado in may 2007. It was very violent as reed's video showed (trees being ripped out of the ground) but since it didnt hit anything OUN didnt even bother with a survey and it got a basic EF-0.

People need to take care of themselves and stop worrying about everybody else and how they count their tornados. This thread should not only belocked but totally deleted to save wasted space.

Hollingshead, I thought you were banned from this place. I haven't seen you on here in forever. Normally you're the one stirring up the trouble.

I guessed page 10, I'm gauging my posts. If you keep it up I may not need to do any additional work...lol. Yours and Adam's fat girl could be working on a 5'r. If this is the case then my lockage predicting far "exceeds" my chase forecasting.

And Yet Again..

I can't believe you people.

First off let me say that this is coming from Chaser Brandon Sullivan, not Moderator Brandon Sullivan.

How Dare Anyone come on here and single out one person and or one report and say it was not valid, especially those chasers who have seen better stuff then you ever have.

It is really a shame that anyone on here should feel run off the forum, or no longer have a desire to participate in these threads that you all turn into bashfests, with pointless pictures and posts.

I don't understand you all..

Needless to say, this thread is locked. I apologize to Dann who started the thread with good intentions only to have it hijacked!

Who cares about counting tornadoes.. Half of us can count tornados and handle it without getting a big head like the other half.

Were out there to film, gather data, photos, warn the public, protect others, or just for the hell of it. Not to worry about everyone elses reports, or if they really should add one to their count..

LOCKED!!!
