Does anyone own a copy of Howard Bluestein's TORNADO ALLEY? I've been giving some thought about picking it up in the future.

What do you think of it?

I have it and I'm about 3/4 the way through it. It's a very good book and I recommend it highly.

It's a good book, not too technical. Seeing as how he is one of the foremost people in the field, I would reccomend this book to anyone looking for an informative read without too much complicated mumbo-jumbo.

I would read anything Howie wrote about tornadoes.

Two other must-haves:
for Tornadoes: "Under the Whirlwind" by Arjen and Jerrine Verkaik
for Lightning: "Lightning" by Martin A. Uman
