To help introduce the newest generations of chasers to the early history of the activity, I thought some trivia questions might be good avenues. Any others to add?

"Chaser" in this context is defined with the classical definition: a person who serially and intentionally forecasts and travels to convective or tropical severe weather events (lightning, supercells, tornadoes, hurricanes). In other words, not a "local" or an "opportunist".

* Asterisk denotes items I'm not 100% sure of the answer (paging Blake Naftel or other chasing historians!)

Which chasers are/have been in the Guinness Book of World Records for most tornadoes seen?

Which chasers appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien?

Which chasers were the first to:
- Capture a tornado on a tape camcorder*
- Capture a tornado on 35mm movie film
- Capture video of an anticyclonic tornado
- Build a camera probe and successfully get it hit by a tornado

Which chasers were consultants for original (1996) Twister film?

When was the first Stormtrack magazine published?

Who were the chasers in the original NOVA tornado special?

Name three well-known chaser vehicles from the 1980s/1990s.

Where did the "steak dinner after a tornado day" tradition originate?*

Great idea Dan! At Chaser Summit in 2024 I was sitting at the same table as Carson Edds and at one point Reed Timmer was trying to leave the room and was just inundated with folks trying to talk to him. I had the thought then about how ironic it was (even sad) that the new generation of chasers had no idea who was a few feet from them - one of the pioneers of storm chasing and a guy who had an amazing chase vehicle long before Reed did. It will be cool to share that trivia.
