Help Needed

sorry to here about that

Glad you guys are okay. I heard the thunder and lightning here in Olathe but did not see many L strokes here.

I've been in and out of hospital and feel much better now. Can't send money sorry but our wishes are with you.

If I could get some cans food stuff I would but I don' come much to Lawrence except for Haircut and other things once in a while.

Keep us posted if there is place to send some cans, food.

Money is on it's way....

Darrin has been nothing but kind to me, it is a shame to see this happen to any human being, let alone a friend and fellow chaser..

Thoughts and prayers with you 2 Darrin..

Post going on my blog also!

I had some close family friends lose everything in Katrina and know how hard it can be to start over. I hope you guys get back on your feet soon. It's not much but I hope it helps. Stay positive!

Likewise with other requests here, please send me a postal mail address to you (or them) to mail a check. Thanks.

I know what they are going through with my parents loosing everything to a fire a few years back. Just know it's only material things and the important stuff is what made it out safe and sound. God Bless guys!

Dick,

I just sent a contribution to you through Paypal to help Darin and his girlfriend out during this tough time.

Thanks,
Mark

My prayers go out to Darin and Lexi for their most unfortunate mishap. It must be devastating to lose most or all that you have. Fortunately, they were not hurt. I will send a small contibution as soon as I can. Thanks, Dick for your efforts in helping out with this.---Rick

I am sorry to hear about this news after getting back from Italy last night. I'll send in a donation for Darin and his g/f. Have to support our fellow KC chasers, and certainly in a sad event like this....any help is a step in right direction.

Unfortunately I can't help right now, but I sure would like to send my thoughts and prayers to you guys. Stay positive and you will get through this.

Thank you everyone for your support and donations for Darin and Lexi...you guys really have no idea how much this means to them. I can't believe the amount of support that the storm chasing community has given them over the last several days. I would have never in a million years dreamt that so many of you would have responded to this unforeseen tragedy and words will never be able to describe how much this means to them.

From Darin a few days ago:
One thing that can't to be taken away in life is the love and support of family and friends and we just wanted to thank you all for everything today from the bottom of our hearts. Your words have deeply touched us and we can't thank you enough for every bit of encouragement you have shown us in starting to get our lives back in order. Darin and Lexy

Today is Alexis' birthday and I am compiling a list to send him, with all of the emails and donations from everyone for tonight to show them. They are doing fine for the time being and I know with the storm chasing community's help over the last several days, they will be back on their feet in no time.
