GRL3 GPS Start on startup?

Great program. Been using it for years. But can someone explain to me why on earth we have to go in and select a COM port and manually start GPS each and every time we startup the program? Seems like a simple enough feature to provide the ability to turn the function on or off. I run GPS Gate which will start on bootup so all assigned COM ports are available upon individual program startup. Am I missing something? Or is there a "back door" way to accomplish this?

See the fourth post down about the program Autolt. Also, search on "GPS auto start" and you should see some posts from the username jmcmurry who seems to know how it all works. I hope this helps get you started.
