Thought I would throw out what I know about the Treo 750. It has problems. Treo's aren't good to have till they have been out for about a year. One of the main things that the 750 has is it will stop playing any sounds. Meaning it won't make an audiable ring any alerts won't make a noise. It genrally happens about 2 to 4 weeks after you have gotten into the device. The only resolve is to do a reset on it. A soft reset, if no go, back your stuff up and do a hard reset which will wipe everything. Treo won't have a fix for this till around the second week of June.

I have had no problems with my Treo 750 except for the voice command that seems to hit the battery pretty hard. WM 6 should be out soon for it and that should fix the voice command issue. This is a great phone and I like it better than the 8525.

I got my Treo 750 a few days after it was released in January and I really enjoy it. The only issue I have is with the memory card slot having troubles writing to the card, but I don't really use the memory card right now. The WM6 upgrade should be coming out for it I believe by the end of the summer, so that will be a nice upgrade. Text messaging is much more fun and easy with a front side qwerty keypad. :) If they would only get 3g service here in Central IL, then we'd be golden!

It seems to me like the 3G rollout has been put on hold because of the merger . Mobile, AL was supposed to have 3G in January and still no sighns of it here.

I don't know about the 750, but the 650 was the absolute worst phone I have ever owned, followed by my 600. I went threw 4 650's due to warranty and on the last one gave up just got a cheap phone to hold me over until I could get the 8525. My treos first had the simcard issue, then had a problem with the bluetooth then the speaker went out, then it stopped receiving a signal so I finally gave up after my 4th replacement. I sure hope for palm's sake they start making better devices.

As for my 8525, I absolutly love it, no issues or problems what so ever. Best phone/pda I have ever had!

Before locking in on a contract from AT&T I would wait to see what they offer for the Apple I-Phone.

They will have the apple Iphone but it will not have high speed internet and will be outdated when it comes out . Why would you get a phone that only has Edge ?
