First successful "intercept"?

...considering that I didn't go anywhere.

Here in Cleveland we'd been watching the recent epic squall line snake its way in our direction all night. When it finally arrived, it was nowhere near severe.

On the other hand, radar showed some interesting storms developing a couple of hours ahead of the squall line. One of the cells passed directly over my...err, fixed spotting location, at about 0445z. Check this out, from a never-warned thunderstorm in a non-watch area:

I do believe that meets the definition, yes?
 
I'd like to know the exact definition of "intercept". That is some pretty good size hail, especially for a storm that went unwarned. Where exactly are you at? I live in Berea right now, but I don't think we had any significant hail. Some nice lightning though!
 
North Olmsted, not too far from Great Northern. It was an isolated cell that developed north of Ashland and moved NE through Spencer, Columbia Station, then here, continuing past to Lakewood and the west side of downtown. It was trucking too. Not much lightning from that cell, though there was plenty in some other storms that came by.
