AN AREA OF
SHOWERS WAS MOVING WEST ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
OKLAHOMA FROM THE EAST SIDE OF OKLAHOMA CITY AND SHAWNEE TO ADA TO
ARDMORE...LAKE TEXOMA AND GAINESVILLE TEXAS. THESE SHOWERS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AND AFFECT PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA CITY AND THE
INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA THIS

This is from the NWS current short-term forecast in central Oklahoma. Notice anything wrong? Comments?

looks like John Kerry is working for the NWS now.......

I think they're saying, "They can run, but they can't hide! And what's the difference, anyway. We'll hunt 'em down and bring 'em into doppler range wherever they are! How do you expect to find 'em when you say it's the wrong direction on the wrong vector at the wrong time?"

I just assume that everyone knows that because of the current weather pattern, the showers really are moving from East TO West across Oklahoma and North Texas. Yeah, very unusual but that is the direction they are moving here in the Dallas / Fort Worth area also.

But that's not what the second half of the text says...

"THESE SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST"

Yeah, typos like that are sometimes hard to notice when writing the discussion.

Also, in the first sentence it should be "are" instead of "is". But they got the point across.
