• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Discovery is looking for a storm chasing couple

Sean: I would add my vote for Sean and Katie McMullen. Even though I am from Florida, I have had the opportunity to see them on chases in the past and they are an exceptional couple. They have some very interesting stories to tell that would fit right in with what you are seeking to do and they are just a fun couple!

I'm glad you found us!!

Sean,

It was great seeing you at the convention, thanks for the hook-up, hopefully something will come out of it. We'll keep in touch. Thanks again for remembering us.

There is a couple from Fremont, Indiana that go out to the plains for most of the season...if I find their names, I'll PM you... I know they have been doing this for at least ten seasons. I always run into them at skywarn and other weather training.

Johnathan,
I do not know of a couple here in Fremont there is a couple over in pioneer Ohio, but they go out with one of the collage teams every year.

Sean, was good to see you again Sat. How was your flight? Liz and I chase together most of the time, We are passionate about it, not just a hobby, its a calling. She is very friendly and has a lot of energy, I think she would make a good candidate with me on a show.

Thanks everyone.

Ronan has passed along all the info to the Discovery people for consideration.

My husband and I have been chasing for a few years now. We are from North Platte, NE. I currently volunteer out at the weather service here. We are very passionate about severe weather and would also love to be considered. Thank you.

Taking the family chasing!

My wife and I chased regularly, but now that we have a little one, we're going to wait a few years before we take him with us.

Hopefully, I can instill an interest in weather right from the start!
