• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Disappearing Threads?

Yeah, I know. I typed up a long response and then when I tried to post it it said "invalid thread".
I saw Tim was on there right before I posted, so I'm betting he yanked it.

That thread looked like it was getting to heated after reading 8 pages and I still had several more to go so I am not suprised it was removed. Some of the people in that discusion was not being very nice towards other members.

Edit: looks like they split it into 2 threads.

Go start a new thread Robert lol.
We can't disturb the herd. If Tim wants to delete it that's his call. He pays the bills. I don't think it needed to be closed though. It was an interesting thread IMO.

Probably some yahoo hacker. Driving by going 100 and saw the thread. Lit their hair on fire and said, we're taking a thread with us! They are probably off selling it somewhere.

God I need to be less bored soon.

Yeah, I'm known for starting some hot topics here on ST... guess I can't start 'em all though (thanks, Shane) lol

Wow, that was hilarious... It's not often that I actually laugh at my computer lol

It had degenerated to the point that apparently I was supposed to call a family that lost a loved one in a car accident and confess to them that I speed.

Whew, I'm putting another bag of popcorn in the microwave for this... That was a close call.

LOL you felt that way too? After page 10 I called my own family to say I was sorry for the brownie I just ate. My dad had a double bi-pass.

Or... we could just rename it "Disappearing Posts" as it appears mine are now missing from the original thread (unless I'm missing something).

Tim just added another thread in Bar and Grill that will answer that one for you Steve. Apparently there were some infractions issued too. Some how I managed not to get one, or I just haven't got it yet.
