Ok, the book has been removed. However, I should mention (again) all images were from a royalty free website where they were purchased or from Wikipedia (images that said they were 'GNU'). Again, this is why I did not attempt to sell the guide (because I did not fully understand what the 'GNU' meant or if one was supposed to be able to use those image commercially) and decided to give the ebook away as I thought someone could learn from the information it contained. Also, like I said, NONE of the images had information in regards to who took the pictures so how was I supposed to contact anyone to ask for permission. Hell, as far as I knew I did everything I possibly could do to ensure the images I used were 'legal'.
Again, I apologize if I used an image that was yours without your permission as this was not my intentions.
That being said, I do not appreciate how you have gone about this Lanny. You reply to this topic, insult me and THEN insist I PM you? WTF is that? Why not just PM me in the first place? Oh wait, because you wanted to insult me. Furthermore, I've done nothing but try to be respectful to you and others here (for the most part anyway - I'll admit I'm not perfect). However, for whatever reason you throw out all kinds of accusations about how I 'claimed' to be some veteran storm chaser who has all kinds of images and videos and basically try to convince people I'm lying about this. First of all, I have NEVER said this. What I said is I had been chasing storms (mostly locally) for approximately 10 years (maybe your definition of a storm chaser is different then mine but does that automatically make me wrong?). I assure you I have never tried to claim I was some 'veteran' storm chaser and have acknowledged several times I am still learning - not to mention why should I HAVE to prove any of this to you? Also, feel free to show me exactly where I claimed that I have many still images and videos of storms. Hell, I would have NEVER mentioned anything about what I know about chasing until people began challenging my knowledge by telling me I'm a 'noob' and need to learn the basics and that my opinion didn't matter because I was a 'noob'. Then when I defend myself and try to explain to people I DO already know the basics I am mocked because apparently I'm running around telling everyone I'm a veteran chaser? What do you want me to do?
I apologize to anyone who came to this thread hoping to read a free ebook about storms and chasing them. This book will no longer be available. Thanks Lanny Dean. Have a nice day.
