Have you ever looked up into the navel of a thunderstorm developing right overhead. That place that looks like a tear in the clouds that leads deep into the heart of the storm via an updraft vault?
If so, what was that experience like for you? For me it's pure breathless awe and I feel my spirit sweep right up into the storm core with the updrafts.
Feel free to check out poetry and a sketch about this occurance on my blog site www.joyfulstormhunting.com
I would love to read your stories and see any sketches/photos of any similar events you have enjoyed.

That's nice Stephen. It is soo amazing to be there and to experience the feeling of looking up into the power of an updraft. Feeling it coarse through your veins. Feeling the rush of the inflow, watching the clouds lift and sink and twist. The deep black and blue clouds. The sound of the thunder and wind blowing against the corn stalks.
Theres no place I'd rather be.
