COD Forecast Sounding Upgrade

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that we have upgraded our forecast sounding system this afternoon.

The page has been updated to included user-defined parcel trajectories, sounding indices, and hodographs!

We have worked hard to make this upgrade happen before the heart of convective season. Thanks to our donors who helped make this possible. A video describing the upgrade is linked below.

Awesome update. COD is really changing their model output for the better. I am using it more and more these days.

The COD page has really come along in the last year or two and it's pretty much all I use most of the time anymore except for SPC mesoanalysis near initiation. Very nice work!

The only thing I found missing the most from CoD was hodographs, but now i feel like i don't need to go anywhere else.

Piling on the love for CoD. I used to look at a mix of TwisterData, Earl Barker, my own IDV plots, etc. - I pretty much just use CoD now. Don't ever let it turn bad or disappear

Count me as a fan of COD as well, it’s my primary source for numerical data. I prefer Earl’s site for forecast soundings but this is a convenient resource that I use as well and I appreciate the upgrade.

Very happy to see the continued improvements on the CoD site. It just keeps getting better!

Looks like I sent my suggestion to you guys just a tad late to get in on this update, but I look forward to seeing it implemented in the next update.
