What is some terminology you guys use when chasing tornadoes? I know a few like Bear's cage and Ghost train, but I was wondering if there was anymore terminology out there.

I don't really use much terminology aside from the typical...wall cloud, mesoscyclone, tornado cyclone, tornado, RFD gust front etc. Although I'd like to make up a term for when the gust front of a wind producing MCS outruns the precipitation......that one irritates me quite a bit lol.

Not my favorite, but a "mummy". A rain wrapped tornado that you can't really see. You know, I might like that one more than I thought....

My favorite.. "Anvil Crawler" Lightning that seems to crawl across the sky. NOAA defines it as:
Anvil Crawler - [Slang], a lightning discharge occurring within the anvil of a thunderstorm, characterized by one or more channels that appear to crawl along the underside of the anvil. They typically appear during the weakening or dissipating stage of the parent thunderstorm, or during an active MCS.

"Spinergy" which describes the allotted amount (time) of spin a tornado receives, for those who agree with an old theory that tornadoes' lifespans are pre-determined by atmospheric forces within the localized storm/area environment.
